Through its international human rights allies, the Union Association for Human Rights (UAHR) participated in the 69th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) at the United Nations in New York, where issues of gender equality and women’s empowerment were discussed at the international level.

Dr. Fatima Khalifa Al Kaabi, President of the UAHR, affirmed that the UAE’s participation in this session represented a key opportunity to highlight its efforts in empowering women through the “National Policy for Empowering Emirati Women 2031,” which focuses on strengthening women’s roles in society, the labor market, and future sectors.
