The Union Association for Human Rights participated in the national consultations related to the preparation of the UAE report on the Convention on the Rights of the Child and its Optional Protocol on the sale of children, child prostitution, and child pornography. This participation came in response to an official invitation from the Ministry of Family, which called on civil society organizations to share their views.
The Union Association for Human Rights (UAHR) participated in the workshop "The Role of Non-Profit Organizations in the FATF Mutual Evaluation Process", organized by the Ministry of Community Empowerment in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the UAE National Anti-Money Laundering and Combatting Financing of Terrorism and Financing of Illegal Organizations Committee (NAMLCFTC).

The Union Association for Human Rights participated in the 16th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP16) to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, hosted by Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, over the past few days. The event brought together more than 50,000 participants, including international experts and specialists in the fields of environment and sustainability, alongside representatives from over 1,000 non-governmental organizations and United Nations agencies.
