The meeting of the General Assembly of the Union Association for Human Rights (UAHR) for the year 2025 was held on June 20, 2025, via video conferencing, with the participation of the Board members and a representative from the Department of Community Development. During the meeting, six key items were discussed and unanimously approved: approval of the minutes of the 2024 General Assembly meeting, approval of the 2024 activity and achievements report, approval of the financial report and final accounts for 2024, approval of the operational work plan for 2025, approval of the proposed budget for 2025, and appointment of “Zayed Chartered Accountants” as the auditor for the 2025 financial year, selected from among the submitted proposals. A total of six recommendations and resolutions were adopted during the meeting.
