These included participation in the sessions of the Arab Charter on Human Rights Committee, preparation of the Emirates Human Rights Magazine, and coordination for participation in the 58th session of the Human Rights Council. The agenda also covered design files, awards, media outreach, and competitions. The meeting concluded with the adoption of 9 key resolutions.

The meeting followed up on the implementation of previous decisions, particularly regarding the shadow report, the inclusion of French in the magazine, business cards, and the Association’s participation in the 58th session of the Human Rights Council. The fifth meeting of the Board of Directors of the UAHR focused on approving the Association’s participation plan for the 59th session of the Human Rights Council, including side events, media coordination, and human rights content. Additionally, plans for an upcoming visit to the Humanitarian City in Abu Dhabi were presented, aiming to highlight the UAE’s pioneering humanitarian experience. The sixth Board meeting focused on the key topics to be presented at the General Assembly meeting, including financial proposals, the operational work plan for the coming year, the final statement, and the annual achievements report. The launch mechanism for the Association’s official website was also reviewed, along with discussion of several future projects to be carried out locally and internationally. The meeting concluded with the adoption of 4 key resolutions aimed at organizing and preparing these topics for presentation to the General Assembly.

The seventh meeting of the Board of Directors of the Union Association for Human Rights was held in July 2025. Discussions focused on following up on the implementation of decisions from previous meetings and approving the association’s participation plan for the 60th session of the Human Rights Council, including accompanying human rights and media events. The meeting also addressed updates on the official delegation’s visit to the Humanitarian City, reviewed the concept for the fourth issue of the association’s magazine, and discussed future projects the association intends to implement both locally and internationally. The meeting concluded with the adoption of 13 key resolutions, including the development of the UAHR’s website, the updating of its bylaws in line with new legislation, and the coordination of media efforts to highlight the humanitarian role of the United Arab Emirates.
