Dr. Fatima Al Kaabi, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Union Association for Human Rights (UAHR) , met with Mr. Anis Anani, Human Rights Officer at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, and Ms. Nadine Sahouri, Human Rights Officer at the Middle East and North Africa Section – Field Operations and Technical Cooperation Division.

The meeting explored opportunities for joint cooperation on a range of human rights issues concerning the United Arab Emirates, and examined ways to enhance the role of civil society organizations. Discussions also focused on capacity-building, with particular emphasis on training, the exchange of expertise, and future collaboration on awareness-raising projects.
