The first meeting of the General Assembly of the UAHR was held on February 8, 2024, in Abu Dhabi, with the participation of the founding members and representatives from the Ministry and the Department of Community Development. The meeting included an overview of the Association’s establishment and objectives, introductions of the founding members, and the formation of the Board of Directors through acclamation, appointing the five members listed below for a four-year term. Discussions also addressed the importance of cooperation with official entities and the documentation of the meeting as the first General Assembly to be convened via the “Sharek” platform. A total of four key recommendations and resolutions were adopted during the meeting.
