The exhibition witnessed a wide turnout from human rights advocates, representatives of international organizations, diplomatic missions, university students, as well as UN experts and prominent human rights and community figures.

The exhibition highlighted the role of the UAE in harnessing sport as a tool for sustainable development, peacebuilding, individual empowerment, and the promotion of values of tolerance and coexistence, in line with the UAE’s vision of supporting rights and freedoms, and improving the quality of life.

Importance of the exhibition:

  • Affirming the role of sport in promoting human rights principles, as a means of empowering women, youth, and people of determination, and enhancing cultural rapprochement, and encouraging inclusive community participation.
  • Shedding light on the UAE’s advanced sports and recreational infrastructure, with high-quality facilities accessible to all segments of society without discrimination.
  • Featuring inspirational quotes from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, reflecting the UAE leadership’s commitment to placing the individual at the center of development and entrenching human values through sport.
  • Emphasizing the link between sport and human rights within the framework of the “UAE 2071” vision, which aims to achieve sustainable development and comprehensive prosperity.
