The Union Association for Human Rights (UAHR) participated in a workshop titled “Civil Society’s Contribution to Advancing Human Rights in the UAE Towards a Human Rights-Based Approach.” The 3-day workshop was organized by the Ministry of Community Empowerment, in collaboration with the Permanent Committee for Human Rights, from July 19 to 21, 2024, at Al-Mizhar Majlis in Dubai.

The workshop aimed to explore the human rights system and the role of public benefit institutions in protecting human rights, in line with the Ministry of Community Development’s commitment to spreading the culture of human rights and empowering public benefit institutions in protecting human rights in the UAE.

The event was attended by chairpersons and members of the boards of directors of public benefit associations.
