The Union Association for Human Rights participated in the exhibition and conference activities through an official delegation headed by Counselor Maryam Al-Ahmadi, Vice Chairperson – Union Association for Human Rights. This participation reflects the UAHR’s commitment to strengthening cooperation and partnerships with civil society organizations in the international development sector. It supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and reinforces the principle of international solidarity in addressing humanitarian challenges.

During meetings held on the sidelines of the event with representatives of humanitarian relief organizations, the UAHR’s delegation highlighted the UAE’s pioneering role in humanitarian and relief work and reviewed major initiatives and programs launched by the country to alleviate human suffering in regions affected by armed conflict and prolonged crises.

The meetings also introduced the UAE’s national institutions involved in providing humanitarian support, most notably Dubai Humanitarian, the largest global logistics center for international relief operations. Its advanced infrastructure and strategic location attract major international humanitarian organizations and companies that support charitable work.

The delegation emphasized that this participation represents a natural extension of the UAHR’s mission to support international efforts in the fields of human rights and development, and to highlight the UAE’s commitment to the humanitarian approach embedded in its policies, which is aligned with the vision of its leadership to build a more just and equitable future for affected populations.
